I been so fun to dance here in their club Wild Horse and chat with them about the deving they the share and learn how they help each other with their work in ideas and problems.

MystScafati: What do you think of IMVU compared to when you started with deving?
Truckerman011: good question
Annamosscity: yes it is
Annamosscity: I’ll let Trucker go first
Truckerman011: Imvu has made many changes in the 2 years I’ve been here
Annamosscity: it has in 3 years
Annamosscity: I feel that it’s a larger cost for me to dev now compared to then
Truckerman011: most the changes come at the expense of messing others up
Annamosscity: yes that too
Annamosscity: Lots of good Devers are gone
Truckerman011: but if you can stay online, I find dev’ing a challenge
Annamosscity: also good meshers
Truckerman011: and being a Jack of all trades
MystScafati: true
Truckerman011: I find I can be creative
MystScafati: I tried deving a few years ago and finding my pc couldn’t handle it
Annamosscity: yes he does all, I do not do much in clothing not very good at it
Annamosscity: my pc is fine with deving it’s the high kbs some have that kills me when I am deving and in an open room
MystScafati: so you’re the family expert Trucker?
Truckerman011: idk about that

Truckerman011: YouTube players to rooms

Truckerman011: I do feel I do a much better job with dresses
Annamosscity: I can’t do dresses I have a few in my catty but nothing to brag about lol

MystScafati: well what changes would you like to see in deving and in IMVU?
Truckerman011: hmm
Truckerman011: I wish IMVU was fairer on their dev reports
Annamosscity: yes that would be nice
Truckerman011: I went from a level 4 to a level 3 because the more you add to your caddy it interferes with sales
MystScafati: what is a dev report?
Truckerman011: tier levels
MystScafati: ahhh ok
Annamosscity: developers report
Truckerman011: we don’t get credit for promo sales
Annamosscity: it’s on an average of three months
Annamosscity: no we get dev tokens
Truckerman011: promo sales do not count on our report
Annamosscity: worth 10 credits each
Truckerman011: yes if we make 100 credits on a fit
Truckerman011: and someone buys it with promo we get a 10 credit token
Annamosscity: not fair at all
MystScafati: sounds confusing
Annamosscity: we have to spend a lot of credits to get 10 dev tokens
Truckerman011: well we pay for our credits to dev with
Annamosscity: if they buy with promo
MystScafati: lord I haven’t had promo credits in years
Truckerman011: and we should not be punished when people buy with promo credits
Annamosscity: I feel the same about that
Annamosscity: we get ripped off in a way
Truckerman011: IMVU makes their credits back
Truckerman011: and with the meshers leaving
MystScafati: so true
Truckerman011: it is getting harder to find new items to dev

Annamosscity: seems like I am using the same sofa over and over lol
Truckerman011: if we bundle an item we are charged 2 times for adding it to caddy
MystScafati: is it hard to make a mesh ?
Annamosscity: yes that is also a rip off in a way
Annamosscity: he has tried it
Annamosscity: I have not
MystScafati: that doesn’t sound fair they should change that
Truckerman011: unless you have 1600 dollars for a 3d program it is hard
Annamosscity: and it can be tedious
MystScafati: What made you decide to do deving
Truckerman011: 3d max is very expensive
Annamosscity: me I didn’t like the hairs I saw in the shop lol
MystScafati: oh ok
Annamosscity: so I do my own
Truckerman011: well I was invited here by a friend
Annamosscity: then got started on rooms and furniture
Annamosscity: me also

Truckerman011: and when the friendship ended I needed to find something to pass the time
Truckerman011: so I began to dev

MystScafati: What do you want to do in the future?
Truckerman011: I work full time but only 3 days a week
Annamosscity: I work 40 hrs. A week
Annamosscity: me in the future hmmm I can’t wait to met Trucker
Annamosscity: it’s not in the far future
Truckerman011: in the future I will remain creative as long as I can afford it
Annamosscity: that too however meeting him was most important lol

Truckerman011: and in 3 days there will be about 2.7 million people here

MystScafati: I don’t dev but I seem to have a gift in decorating
Annamosscity: yes me too
Annamosscity: it’s why I do plants too
Annamosscity: do it all for the rooms I do
MystScafati: it is hard to fine real looking plants
Annamosscity: look in my catty
Truckerman011: yep
MystScafati: oh I plan too
Annamosscity: I use real leaf textures and real flower textures on just about all of my plants
MystScafati: the other thing is finding thing that are low in kb
Truckerman011: we try to dev as low as we can without blurring
Annamosscity: yes some of mine are a bit high but most are not I try to find the lowest but there are items I have to grow with what I see
Annamosscity: yes it is the textures if it’s going to look bad then I will either use it or find something else
MystScafati: what makes an item have kb?
Truckerman011: most of the kbs come from high meshes
MystScafati: oh ok
Annamosscity: the mesh and the textures
Annamosscity: I use a lot of OccultBaby’s hairs because I find they are lower in KBs
Truckerman011: multi colored texture like the fit Anna showed
MystScafati: it been very informative talking with you I have learned a lot
Truckerman011: The kb’s get a little high
Annamosscity: that’s cool
Annamosscity: yes and some not all animated can be high
Annamosscity: shiny things are high
Truckerman011: we make rooms less than 400 kb’s
Annamosscity: yes
Truckerman011: I made a huge club and it was only 522 kb’s
Annamosscity: my cavern room was less than 400 kbs
Truckerman011: if you would like I can show you
MystScafati: sweet I love decorate rooms that are low like that
Annamosscity: that is one of the last rooms I deved
Annamosscity: well third from last lol
Truckerman011: would you like to see graffiti
MystScafati: I also found that using the same dev future keeps the kb down in room that I decorate
Annamosscity: yes it does
MystScafati: hmm well I think we covered it all
