Falerii: What got you started in creating?

Tealsong: well it was years ago in something called “tagging” you take a name a design and combine them together

Tealsong: everyone else was using stuff off the net, and i started getting my own designs

Falerii: Your creations are beautiful.

Tealsong: painting my own concepts ……and wandered off into art-land and havent found my way back, thankfully

Falerii: So most of your work is original?

Tealsong: yes

Falerii: Very nice.

Tealsong: if it isn’t original, i don’t like to use it

Falerii: Ok being one of our top fashion dev’s, do you have any advice for those just starting out?

Tealsong: study. buy old magazines to study textures and fashion design, books to learn what you can’t handle; ie: diamonds XD

Tealsong: (good luck on diamonds they’re work)

Falerii: I’ve noticed you put jewels on many of your items.

Tealsong: i love jewels, ever since my first gem and mineral show i saw in 4th grade

Tealsong: walked into the auditorium with the other kids and bling everywhere i could see

Falerii: You are a advert fan of bling, which is very appealing to many.

TealsongTealsong : *grins* just me, the ebil mouse of bling

Falerii: *giggles*

Tealsong: one can be furry, sexy, and keep up with the humans lol

Falerii: What is your favorite thing to create?

Tealsong: jewellery not surprisingly, a fine Benares brocade, silk, lol…..bling

Falerii: (mind went blank)

Tealsong: lol. yeah i do that too

Falerii: Can you tell us a little about yourself?

Tealsong: well i am 61 and a gran’ma rl, i collect rocks and minerals and sparklies

Falerii: and a very good creator I might add 🙂

Tealsong: i have a window with crystals and sparklies arranged on it so i always have rainbows in the room

Falerii: So bling is part of your own world too.

Tealsong: i make jewellery rl, simple stuff wire wraps and all

Falerii: Oh lovely.

Tealsong: yes, i have to study it, how am i going to paint a diamond without understanding what light does in a diamond??

Falerii: Very true.

Tealsong: the crystals are a good substitute and for closer study cubic zirconia works fine and waaay cheaper too

Falerii: Is there any certain style you like to follow or do you just come up with your own stuff? Such as vintage, modern, eras, etc.

Tealsong: vintage is my preference, the classic styles that are still jaw dropping beautiful even if they are 70 years old

Tealsong: i love Art Deco and the Victorian period

Falerii: It seems to be the going thing now. Even clothing.

Falerii: Do you have a site where our viewers can see the jewelry you make? (won’t hurt if you sell it :P)

Tealsong: just the shop in imvu

Falerii: (talking about the rl jewelry)

Tealsong: oh, no, i just make it for myself, Vistaru and my daughters

Tealsong: nothing for sale because that gets expensive really fast

Tealsong: I do suggest looking up Fire Mountain Gems and you can learn how to do it yourself

Falerii: You should consider one day. If your things are as beautiful as your creations on imvu, Im sure many would love to see them.

Tealsong: XD….why spend $$ on already made you can make for a fraction of the cost

Falerii: Very true.

Tealsong: and its fun to wear something you made and have folks drool over it (lmao)

Falerii: Getting back to your own creations on IMVU, I’ve noticed you use a lot of lace textures, did you do that yourself too?

Tealsong: absolutely yes lol

Tealsong: i took classes in lace making when i was younger, and i have wonderful books on lace too

Falerii: It’s very beautiful and unique.

Tealsong: sit down at wacom tablet and sket out the design and know i nailed it right, tweak the size and fit it to the mesh

Falerii: So you make your own meshes too?

Tealsong: thanks, here again study pays off

Tealsong: no. not yet…..i need to start learning meshing

Tealsong: i have dreams of some major bling i’d like to see come true

Falerii: That would be awesome. You are a true inspiration to myself and many others.

Tealsong: if you love art, whatever medium you choose, then be a artist, don’t let the years slips between your fingers like i did

Falerii: But you are still contributing to art now. Your creations are orginal as they are beautiful.

Tealsong: i try to say as much as i can artistically and still have fun in imvu
