FeliciaDivine: You have been here a long time, how did you find out about IMVU and what made you decide to stay?
SelenaNiDanu: i saw it on a website i was on and it looked interesting so I came made my avi and then got to make alot of friends from all over,. so it hooked me
SelenaNiDanu: and i was asked to join a modelin group and off i went hook line and sinker
FeliciaDivine: So you had fun as a model, were you always into fashion?
SelenaNiDanu: i always was changin my look back then like i do now. always wantin to be different and such. so being a model helped me experience more styles and such .
FeliciaDivine: How do you think fashion is now on IMVU compared to way back when?
SelenaNiDanu: would sit and doodle clothin in my spare time on paper so when i came to imvu and saw the fashions and stuff, i was so into more..
SelenaNiDanu: the clothing line is way much better, oh god i had a noob night couple months ago and to wear what i wore back them i was goin oh god and we thought this was hot
SelenaNiDanu: lol

MystSWolfThor: how did you go from modeling to djing ?
FeliciaDivine: great question

SelenaNiDanu: well i was at a dance club and this man came in to see when he was goin to dj , being at that time was darkwolfcorvinus who is now darkwolfthor
SelenaNiDanu: he saw me well without clothes cus in that room u had to pay attention when they did roll call or lose ur clothes
SelenaNiDanu: and i kinda lost my clothes and was just out of a relationship of 2 yrs and we talked a bit and then started to date and he told me about startin a radio together
SelenaNiDanu: so we founded ozzy radio which is now ozzi .. but it was founded by him , me, jen and chrissy ..
SelenaNiDanu: then he taught me how to dj and been hooked since,. cus i love playin music and lovin the reactions from peeps hearing songs they havent heard in ages
FeliciaDivine: so other people know…who is Jen and Chrissy?
SelenaNiDanu: makes me feel good and knowin im doin a awesome job
SelenaNiDanu: jen is heavenlybabydoll and chriss is britt
SelenaNiDanu: even though britt doesnt do anything for ozzi , but heavenly is dj giggz
MystSWolfThor: now your a dever too but not just of clothes?
SelenaNiDanu: no , i dev rooms , furnitures

SelenaNiDanu: along with clothes for female and males, hair as well. my goal is to learn to do skins its a challenge and i will conquer it for sure
FeliciaDivine: you have a great style, what i love about you is…i can make a request and you sometimes find it fast or you find a better version of a song, your almost impossible to stump

FeliciaDivine: almost all dj’s would not take the requests i gave you and i think you missed 1 song in about 50
SelenaNiDanu: see that is what confuses me about djs ,, they dont realize it increases their music list as well as pleasin the one who requested it. i had to do a wedding and im not a disney person
SelenaNiDanu: but the bride requested 20 disney songs for their weddin reception, i downloaded all 20 for her , because it was a request and made me feel good knowin they are gettin what they asked for .
FeliciaDivine: you have a passion for fashion but you must have a passion for music as well to do what you do, you go beyond what other dj’s do
FeliciaDivine: what would you say is your favorite style of music?
SelenaNiDanu: I try to go beyond what others do .. some are strictly plays one style of music , to me a dj is lovin all aspects of the music , i got metal to old country and 50’s and 60’s and songs most wouldnt even thought of playin.. makes me stand out more ..
SelenaNiDanu: i dont play opera , that is one catagory isnt in my list

SelenaNiDanu: kinda hard to put a fav , when im a country gal and country music is in my blood, but yet i was raised to 50’s and 60’s , 80’s had some awesome songs., even now days there are songs that stick with me and have a meanin to me .

SelenaNiDanu: i really cant say i got a favorite, i dont care for alot of rap but there is some i will play , hip hop i dig alot and play alot.. there be days i am in a mushy mood and play nothin but love songs , thats the sensual side of me comin out
FeliciaDivine: Myst pointed out you now design and create. With all the changes on IMVU its harder to be a creator, what made you decide to start now?
FeliciaDivine: Thanks to Myst i have been checking out your catalogue and i am impressed with how good you are
SelenaNiDanu: i have been devin of and on since 2010 .. and was close to pro , then lost my rl job so i couldnt get the credits to make stuff to go further. so now im back on track and seein the style that is out there , with pvc and such which i am a big fan of

SelenaNiDanu: i sat and watchs a video on youtube and got the pvc down on first attempt.. a pro dev said im a born natural for one to get pvc and shine down like that . i will go far and become awesome as i go .
FeliciaDivine: 90 pages of awesomeness in your catty, i think the dev was right
SelenaNiDanu: Rooms i hated to do at first
SelenaNiDanu: lol
SelenaNiDanu: because one room took 7 hrs to do
FeliciaDivine: i liked doing rooms first 🙂
SelenaNiDanu: i went this is hard work give me a wire mesh anytime

FeliciaDivine: lol, i hated trying to line up edges of textures when doing clothes
SelenaNiDanu: then i sat and checked out the rooms found a derivable room and went oh god after i found the textures i wanted , it turned out kickin and went ok i think its back to rooms again
SelenaNiDanu: oh i know to make sure u get the red covered
SelenaNiDanu: even the slightiest red seen they will make it ap
SelenaNiDanu: i had a bikini i did in 4 different colors
SelenaNiDanu: all past but my black xxl one
SelenaNiDanu: cus someone saw a faint red on the crotch
SelenaNiDanu: i was like u got to be kiddin me
SelenaNiDanu: i do find some of these peeps reviewin must be drunk or on drugs cus of some of their comments
SelenaNiDanu: had one say my hair was tobacco , so i went yea my smoke went into my lap and into gimp got on the hair and stayed
MystSWolfThor: ok selena in your dev what is your favor thing from the pictures to the cloth or rooms or are the all pretty much equal?
SelenaNiDanu: or when i did the toddler of my grandbaby kye
SelenaNiDanu: i prefer to do clothing, cus i can see people wearing them and go hey i know that fit
SelenaNiDanu: rooms i wont be seein if they arent friends
SelenaNiDanu: i edit pics for a past time
FeliciaDivine: i find everyone has someone they admire or had help from so is there some people you wish remembered or would like to give a shout out to?

SelenaNiDanu: I wish she was still around but she was queenrose something she taught me how to use gimp and do my first outfit on imvu
FeliciaDivine: notice im avoiding the discussion on Peer Review…sometimes they do say the dumbest things, such as Tealsong has had a few simple dresses come back as Cruelty To Animals (shake my head)
SelenaNiDanu: taught me how to make my pics stand out with shadow and such ,, like a pic i did with a hand comin out of a wave grabbin my avi in the pic , it has a 3d look to it, she showed me how to do such

SelenaNiDanu: i know like with my toddler , someone said maliciousness however its spell , i went yep i put my grandbaby through my lap and order her to become a toddler on imvu
SelenaNiDanu: or blood and gore and goin where is there blood and gore its a pair of shoes

FeliciaDivine: Selena do you have any advice for aspiring designers?
SelenaNiDanu: dont be afraid to try it.. it took me a while to get use to stuff but it will eventually come together ,. start small and work your way to bigger things, like me im wantin to do skin and know it is a challenge then eyes
FeliciaDivine: yes i find skin is the hardest, many say that
SelenaNiDanu: oh i almost had one done ,
SelenaNiDanu: then my roomie i was livin with was usin my pc while at work and i told her if that update comes up click to post pone for 4 hrs til i get off work and she got busy and forgot and it shut my stuff down and i cant go back and change a layer cus now it got merged with the shutdown
SelenaNiDanu: the body was lookin wicked belly legs, butt all dead on , was workin on the face when it got shut down , had the lips perfect and was about done on the cheeks and forehead
SelenaNiDanu: so it was frustrated , cus i worked on it for about a week
FeliciaDivine: i bet, what i find interesting is i have ideas and when i try them they look wrong so i do something totally different, almost opposite and for some reason it works, so i have a saying…try everything
SelenaNiDanu: yup
SelenaNiDanu: one time gimp crashed while doin a fit
SelenaNiDanu: something wasnt right
SelenaNiDanu: brought it back up and then the fit came together and i dont know what i did different

FeliciaDivine: now for your other passion, do you have any advice for aspiring DJ’s?
SelenaNiDanu: If you love music , i say go for it and dont hold nothing back bring ur passion out and peeps will hear it through ur music u play..
SelenaNiDanu: at first i didnt talk over the radio , was a bit shy
SelenaNiDanu: yes i know hard to believe me being shy lol

SelenaNiDanu: but i was .. then finally dark showed me how to do it and been hooked ever since .. only got tongue tied maybe 4 times out of the 5 yrs of djin

SelenaNiDanu: just be urself, if you want an unique style when doin drops , i would say yea practice til u get it to where u got it memorize, but me i just go for it in what mood im in like last night i was in a frisky mood and was purrin and rawring
